Los Angeles, CA – June 27, 2024 – BET Media Group is thrilled to announce its debut partnership with NFL Votes and The Players Coalition at this year’s BET Experience presented by Walmart.
NFL Votes is the NFL’s league-wide, nonpartisan initiative encouraging all members of the NFL family, including fans, to register to vote and cast a ballot in this year’s election cycle and beyond. Through NFL Votes, the league seeks to use its platform as a national unifier to encourage civic engagement in communities across the country, ensuring that everyone eligible to vote can use their voice and have a say in our country’s future.
Kicking off at FanFest, this two-day activation aims to drive civic engagement, voter registration, and turnout among Black voters for the 2024 election season with two interactive activations at BETX Fan Fest. By highlighting the significance of civic participation and the power of collective action, this initiative is set to make a profound impact as the nation approaches one of the most pivotal presidential elections in American history.
The “YOUR VOTE. OUR WIN.” panel will discuss the power of activism, explore pivotal social issues and their impact on the Black community, and the importance of voter engagement in creating lasting change.

The “YOUR VOTE. OUR WIN.” booth activation gives BETX festival goers an opportunity to experience civic duty mixed with athletic fun at the NFL-inspired obstacle course! They will create a game-winning plan, register to vote, and learn about the importance of using their voice in the 2024 Election. The National Urban League will provide voter education resources, check voter status, and help with on-site registration.

In partnership with NFL Votes and The Players Coalition, BET Media Group continues its ongoing work to ignite unprecedented civic engagement, voter registration and turnout among Black voters in this year’s critical election season, from the primaries and midterms to the Presidential election. Through nonpartisan programming and social impact initiatives, BET Media Group equips Black constituents with knowledge about their voting rights, motivates and mobilizes communities and combats the spread of misinformation by fostering a culture of civic engagement beyond Election Day.
