HONEY BXBY NAMED BET AMPLIFIED LIVE ARTIST FOR JULY 2025

New York, NY – July 8, 2025 – BET Media Group is excited to announce rising R&B disruptor Honey Bxby as the BET Amplified Live artist for July 2025. As part of BET’s premier emerging artist platform, Honey Bxby delivered an exclusive live-to-tape performance streaming on BET.com, the official BET YouTube, and Facebook channels on July 8, 2025 at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT.

Known for her unfiltered lyrics, raw energy, and genre-bending artistry, Honey Bxby is boldly reinventing R&B on her own terms. Her Rebirth Entertainment/Art@War/Warner Records debut EP, Raw Honey, showcases her range—from confessional ballads to cheeky, dancefloor-ready bops—while cementing her place as one of the most exciting new voices in music.

The New Jersey-born singer exploded onto the scene in 2023 with the viral hit “Touchin’,” which earned praise from Mary J. Blige and an official remix by Busta Rhymes. Since then, Honey has continued to make waves with records like “Left Eye”- a cleverly vengeful anthem inspired by the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes-  she performed  it at the 2025 BET Awards Pre Show alongside rap icon, Lil’ Kim— and the confident, guitar-laced single “Right on Time,” which delivers her signature blend of vulnerability and attitude.

Her new EP Raw Honey is a deeply personal collection that marks her evolution from the boss chick fans met on 3 Words, 8 Letters to an artist fully in her element. Songs like “Laying in His Bed” highlight her cheeky, carefree side, while tracks like “Think I Might” tap into newfound emotional depth.

Backed by Karriem “KMack” Mack and Jameila Grant’s Rebirth Entertainment and James McMillan’s ART@WAR Entertainment, Honey Bxby has hit major career milestones in just a short time. She kicked off the final night of the 2025 Essence Festival of Culture concert in New Orleans, opened for Sexyy Red, Flyana Boss, and this spring, will join SAINt JHN on his Festival Season Tour.
