New York, NY – March 07, 2025 – BET Media Group is thrilled to announce rising R&B singer, songwriter, and actress Inayah as the BET Amplified Live artist for March 2025. As part of the new iteration of premier, BET emerging artist platform, Inayah will take the virtual stage on March 04, 2025 at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT, with an exclusive live-to-tape performance streaming on BET.com, the official BET YouTube, and Facebook channels. This special showcase arrives during Women's History Month, as BET proudly continues its commitment to celebrating and uplifting the voices of dynamic female artists who are shaping the future of music.

This announcement follows a groundbreaking year for Inayah, whose 2024 album, Wait, There’s More, has cemented her place as one of R&B’s most compelling voices. Celebrated for her fearless storytelling, Southern swag, and soulful delivery, Inayah captures the beauty and complexity of modern relationships, confidence, and faith in her music. The album’s lead single, “For the Streets,” has already made waves, resonating deeply with fans and critics alike. Other standout tracks, including “Hot Sauce,” “Pretty Girls,” and “Pacquiao” showcase Inayah’s versatility and undeniable star power.

Inayah’s rise to fame is a testament to her dedication and authenticity. She first gained traction in 2014 by writing jingles while sharing covers on social media and auditioning for major talent competitions such as American Idol and The Voice. Her breakthrough moment came when her viral rendition of Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up” skyrocketed her following from 3,000 to 1.3 million, catching the attention of industry icons like Jamie Foxx and Maxwell.
