ATLANTA’S OWN RISING ARTIST DOMANI
RECOGNIZED AS ‘BET AMPLIFIED’ ARTIST FOR NOVEMBER 2024

New York, NY, November 07, 2024 – BET and Nissan have teamed up to spotlight rising artists in music for the esteemed BET Amplified initiative. Launched in 2020, BET Amplified is recognized as BET's seal of endorsement for the next big thing in music, and spotlights artists poised for major impact in the industry. With over 10 years of support for this emerging artist platform, Nissan joins BET again this month to spotlight a new artist with its original one-on-one docu-style interview, “Road to Stardom,” set to air on BET.com and the official BET YouTube Channel. This month’s BET Amplified artist is none other than the multitalented, rising artist Domani.

Domani is no stranger to the spotlight. As one of seven children of renowned rapper T.I. and a former star of VH1’s T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, he has carved his own path through a distinctive talent and vision, earning acclaim as a creative, artist, and songwriter. Domani’s breakout project, Skydive, released in 2021, featured the fan-favorite track “Henny & Crystals” and quickly put the Atlanta artist on the map. Skydive debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard and reached #3 on the Amazon Best Sellers List. Following this success, Domani toured North America with D Smoke, opened for Cordae in Europe, and performed in South Africa with Nasty C. After time on the road, he returned to Atlanta to record a series of singles, including the viral hit “Hi-Ya (Switch)” in January 2023, which he performed at Rolling Loud LA. The performance went viral on social media, amassing tens of millions of views.

In 2024, Domani continued his momentum, releasing five EPs, including the four-part Love Letter series. His song “Forever Lasting,” featuring DC Young Fly and Seddy Hendrinx, emerged from this series and has since amassed over 10 million streams and 200,000 Shazams. The song’s success helped Domani launch his own U.S. headline shows and led to a personal invitation from J. Cole to perform at the 2024 Dreamville Fest in Raleigh. Recently, Domani hosted a fan experience at Atlanta’s iconic Stankonia Studios. With over 3,000 RSVPs before the form closed, fans witnessed his creative process firsthand as he recorded new music in a 12-hour session, culminating in the release of The Lock In - ATL in September 2024, featuring artists such as Lady London and Blanco Brown.

Renowned for his lyricism and storytelling, Domani brings introspection and authenticity to his music. Tracks like “Daddy’s Home” explore family dynamics, while “Fallin,” featuring Rapsody and Anthony Hamilton, captures his journey of self-discovery. This authenticity resonates deeply with fans and has inspired those who, like Domani, strive to create a lasting legacy on their own terms. His commitment to remaining independent through his label, Forever Records, underscores his dedication to his craft and solidifies his selection as this month’s BET Amplified artist.

Domani can now add BET Amplified Artists to his list of accolades. As a BET Amplified artist, Domani will receive BET and Nissan’s support across multiple BET campaigns and platforms, including BET, BET Her, BET Jams, BET Soul, BET.com, BET Socials, and the BET Official YouTube Page.

About Domani
Domani is part of the new era within Atlanta’s hip hop community. 2021 was his coming of age with the release of his album “Skydive” which featured Anthony Hamilton, Rapsody, Nasty C, Shad Da God and more. This was a top 10 Billboard debut, and in its first week was #3 on the Amazon Best Sellers List. This project took Domani on a 20+ city US tour across the US as tour support for D Smoke who was also a featured artist on “Skydive.” In 2022 Domani headed to South Africa in May ‘22 as tour support for Nasty C, and throughout Europe as part of Cordae’s “From A Birds Eye View Tour in 2023.  For 2024 Domani has released five EP’s “Before The Ink Dry”, “Dear Jane”, “Last Letter”, “P.O.
