NEW YORK, NY – SEPTEMBER 8, 2023 – VH1’s legacy “Basketball Wives” franchise continues to make power plays with a fresh starting line-up in the newly crowned flagship city of Orlando. The new “Basketball Wives: Orlando” series premieres this Fall on VH1.
As the general managers of their lives, the ladies of the new “Basketball Wives: Orlando” are coming into the game and playing it their way. Don’t expect them to play by the rules, they are young ambitious entrepreneurs, socialites, entertainers, and philanthropists, who are here to make a name for themselves by any means necessary. The new starting lineup includes Ashley Snell, Danielle Miller, Lyndzie Marble, Mackenzie Hyatt, Mehgan James, Morgan Bledsoe, Mulan Hernandez, Nique Brown, and Nikki Nicole. The casts pride themselves on standing by the men they’re married, dated, and connected to…but never, ever behind them. From lavish lifestyles to personal triumphs and tribulations, “Basketball Wives: Orlando” will give viewers an unfiltered and compelling glimpse into the extraordinary lives of nine resilient women as they confront love, rivalry, and the ever-present spotlight.
Season one promises a fresh look at how the women of the Orlando basketball scene navigate this elite, yet competitive world. While some ladies find trust, sisterhood, and loyalty in their newly reunited group, others are met with exclusion, jealousy, and envy among the newcomers. When relationships are threatened and marred by hurt feelings and miscommunications, they fight at all costs to steer clear of the drama of the cutthroat world.
About the “Basketball Wives: Orlando” cast:
Ashley Snell
Married to professional basketball player Tony Snell, Ashley is a basketball wife, mother, entrepreneur, and self-proclaimed “It Girl,” you have no choice but to take notice when Ashley Snell enters a room.
Danielle Miller
Focused on her career, Danielle has recently taken a break from her fiancé’, who is a professional basketball player and completed her master’s degree in criminal justice.
Lyndzie Marble
Newlywed Lyndzie and her husband, former US professional basketball player Devyn Marble, who currently plays overseas for the Israeli Basketball Premier League, are looking to possibly settle down in Orlando.
Mackenzie Hyatt
Young and ambitious, Mackenzie is an entrepreneur who loves to travel and has big dreams for her lash line business, Minkzie Co. This summer, she finds herself in Orlando, determined to make her business dreams a reality, and sees Ashley as the perfect mentor to help her achieve her goals.
Mehgan James
Mehgan is the host of the entertainment podcast “The Hollywood Group Chat,” where she dishes out breaking news and spills tea. With her eyes set on the future, she is now focused on shedding her ‘Bad Girls Club’ past, rising above failed relationships with basketball players, and developing her emerging music career.
Morgan Bledsoe
Ready to tackle the next chapter of her life post-divorce, Morgan is a strong, independent woman. As a loving mother looking to start anew, Morgan is doing all she can to make this fresh start count.
Mulan Hernandez
Best recognized as a college athlete and an online basketball influencer, Mulan is the ex-girlfriend of a popular professional basketball player. Off the court, you can find her sharing engaging content about her life as a model, host, basketball player, and more.
Nique Brown
Social media influencer, YouTuber, entrepreneur, and girlfriend of an overseas baller, Nique is boasting over a million followers on her YouTube Channel and climbing.
Nikki Nicole
Off-and-on again girlfriend of a professional basketball player, Nikki, is looking for a fresh start in Orlando. With one million Instagram followers, brand partnerships, and her own hair business, Nikki is a boss in her own right.
