Los Angeles, CA, May 7, 2025 - Today, BET revealed its Mother’s Day special cover for IMMERSED, its digital cover series, as part of the media company’s 45th anniversary celebration. This digital-first initiative recognizes culture architects, visionaries, and trailblazers who have shaped Black culture and continue to influence global entertainment, music, fashion, and social impact.

The May issue of IMMERSED features Victoria Monét, the seven-time nominated, three-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter and artist, alongside her beloved daughter, Hazel Monét. In an exclusive interview with Brande Victorian for IMMERSED, the 36-year-old songwriter opens up about her rise to fame, her forthcoming children’s book, and her most important job - motherhood.
