Questlove, Robert “Kool” Bell and David Sardy –

Need Your Votes to Win a Chance to Perform During “GRAMMY Live”

February 2, 2016 – Leading up to THE 58TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS®, CBS.com celebrates the next generation of musicians with the launch of the “Artists of Tomorrow” program, presented by XFINITY.  “Artists of Tomorrow” showcases three up-and-coming acts selected by veteran artists and gives the public the chance to pick one of the rising stars to perform during GRAMMY Live®, the official multiplatform streaming coverage of all the behind-the-scenes action leading up to and throughout THE 58TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS.

CBS.com’s “Artists of Tomorrow” program features video interviews with three past GRAMMY Award winners – Questlove from The Roots, Robert “Kool” Bell of Kool & the Gang and producer David Sardy – where they discuss their own GRAMMYs experience and recommend an artist or band whom they think are rising stars. In addition, the “Artists of Tomorrow” program features performances from each of the three nominated artists, giving the public a chance to get to know each of the rising stars in order to ultimately choose which artist will perform during GRAMMY Live.

Beginning today, the public will have the chance to watch all of the performances and vote to determine which rising star will perform during this year’s GRAMMY Live.

The “Artists of Tomorrow,” nominees include:

  •  Donn T – recommended by Questlove – a singer/songwriter blending pop, soul and R&B music.
  •  Allen Stone – recommended by Robert “Kool” Bell – a singer bringing together edgy soul-pop, folk-rock, R&B and funk.
  •  The Wild Feathers – recommended by David Sardy – a rock ‘n’ roll quartet from Nashville.

Voting can be done through CBS.com at: http://www.cbs.com/shows/grammys/artists-of-tomorrow/. Voting will close on February 10 and the winner’s GRAMMY Live performance will be streamed on February 15.
