CBS THIS MORNING Co-Host Norah O'Donnell will sit down with President Barack Obama at the White House Wednesday for an interview to be broadcast Thursday, Dec. 3 (7:00-9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.
An excerpt of the interview will be broadcast Wednesday, Dec. 2, on the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY (6:30-7:00 PM, ET). The interview will also be presented across all CBS News digital platforms, including CBSN, the first, anchored streaming network available to internet connected consumers.
The interview will focus on the President’s trip to Paris to participate in the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, and more.
O’Donnell’s interview with the President is part of CBS News’ ongoing coverage of climate change concerns as the world’s largest gathering of leaders in Paris try to draft an agreement. On Monday’s CBS THIS MORNING and the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY, correspondent Mark Phillips reported on the first of a Climate Diaries Series from across the Svalbard tundra, just 800 miles from the Arctic Circle, where two American students are helping with crucial and worrying science – the permafrost is thawing. Additional reports from the series will air this month on CBS THIS MORNING and the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY.
In addition, CBSNews.com has extensive in-depth climate change coverage, including the latest news, reporting and photos.
Chris Licht is the Vice President of Programming, CBS News, and Executive Producer of CBS THIS MORNING. Steve Capus is the Executive Producer of the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY and Executive Editor of CBS News.
