"UNDER THE DOME" IS THE #1 PROGRAM IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK

CBS Wins Week in Viewers and Adults 25-54

CBS Has Seven of the Week’s Top 10 Broadcasts, More Than All Other Networks Combined

Only Network to Post Year-to-Year Demo Growth

            CBS won the week in viewers and adults 25-54 (tie) and was a strong second in adults 18-49 as UNDER THE DOME was the #1 program among viewers and key demos for the second consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the holiday week ending July 7.

            CBS dominated the program ranking with seven of the week's top 10 programs, more than all of the other networks combined:  UNDER THE DOME, followed by NCIS, 60 MINUTES PRESENTS, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY, THE BIG BANG THEORY (S), BLUE BLOODS (S) and BIG BROTHER TUESDAY (S).

            CBS posted year-to-year increases in adults 18-49 (+22%) and adults 25-54 (+15%), the only network up in these measures.

            For the week in viewers:  CBS (5.09m), NBC (4.65m), ABC (3.33m) and FOX (2.57m).

            For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.5/04, with NBC) and a strong second in adults 18-49 (1.1/04, -0.1 behind NBC). 

CBS Weekly Highlights:

UNDER THE DOMEwas first in viewers (11.81m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08).  UNDER THE DOMEbeat NBC and ABC combined in viewers (vs. 6.68m, +77%), adults 25-54 (vs. 2.7/07, +44%) and adults 18-49 (vs. 2.2/06, +32%). 

BIG BROTHER SUNDAYwas first in viewers (6.25m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07).  Compared to last Sunday's premiere, BIG BROTHERwas up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.4/07), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/06) and added +440,000 viewers (from 5.81m, +7%). 

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAYwas first in viewers (5.42m), adults 25-54 (2.1/07) and adults 18-49 (1.7/07).  BIG BROTHERwas the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 (tied).
