Ben H. Winters is a novelist and television writer. Winters served as a writer and producer on “Legion” and the limited series “Manhunt.”

His many books include the New York Times bestselling alternate history Underground Airlines, as well The Bonus Room, Golden State, The Quiet Boy and Big Time, coming from Mulholland/Little, Brown in March of 2024. Winters’ Last Policeman trilogy – about a detective solving crimes in the last months before the world ends – won both the Edgar Award for mystery fiction and the Philip K. Dick award for sci-fi. His books have been translated into over a dozen languages around the world.

Winters lives in Los Angeles with his wife, three kids and large dog.
