David Del Rio just wrapped up shooting the pilot for CBS drama MATLOCK, appearing as a series regular opposite Kathy Bates and Skye P. Marshall, which was just given a series order. Currently, Del Rio can be seen as the co-lead in the Hulu Original series “Maggie,” opposite Rebecca Rittenhouse. Prior to that he starred as Mateo in the ABC series “The Baker and the Beauty.”

 

He made his Broadway debut in the role of Sonny in Lin Manuel Miranda’s hit musical “In the Heights.” His other credits include “The Belko Experiment,” written and produced by James Gunn; “Undrafted”; “Spare Parts”; “Grease: Live” on Fox; and “Pitch Perfect.”
