Jaime Camil is the host and executive producer of the new game show LOTERÍA LOCA.

An influential Latin American actor, Camil is a Golden Globe Award and two-time Critics’ Choice Award nominee, two-time AFI Award, two-time Peabody Award, two-time Teen Choice Award (2018 & 2019), ALMA Award, NHMC Award and Imagen Award winner. He starred in and executive produced the television sitcom BROKE, on the Network, and starred in the hit series JANE THE VIRGIN. Other television credits include “Schmigadoon!” “Devious Maids” and the title role in “El Rey, Vicente Fernández,” the Caracol series about the Mexican mariachi superstar. He has a recurring role in upcoming season of “Acapulco.” His feature film credits include “Kimi,” “Snag,” “My Boyfriend’s Meds,” “Pulling Strings,” “200 Cartas,” and “7 Días.” Also, he is a voice actor for many animated projects, including the voice of Papá in the Academy Award-winning animated feature “Coco.”

Camil began his career as a singer, performing alongside Cuban icons Amaury Gutierrez and Pancho Céspedes, before going on to star in the mega hit telenovela “La Fea Más Bella” in his native Mexico. His current success crosses over into the music industry, where he has recorded four platinum-selling albums and led many musicals in Mexico City, including “West Side Story,” “Hook,” “Aladdin,” “El Diluvio Que Viene” and more. In 2005, he led the Broadway-bound musical “The Mambo Kings.” In 2016, Camil headlined a two-month run on Broadway, starring as Billy Flynn in the hit musical “Chicago.” Also, he wrapped a successful three-night only summer production of “Mamma Mia!” in 2017.

Camil is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) and was a global ambassador for Movember’s “The 2023 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride,” a fundraiser to bring awareness and funds for men’s mental health issues and prostate cancer research.
