Arthur Forney

Arthur Forney is an industry veteran who began his career in post-production at Warner Bros. After working on independent films, Forney landed at Universal where he served as an editor on the hit “Magnum P.I.,” for the Network. He joined Wolf Films in 1987, working as an editor with Dick Wolf on “Gideon Oliver,” “Christine Cromwell,” “Nasty Boys” and “Law & Order.”

 

Forney is currently an executive producer of several Wolf Entertainment series including CBS’ FBI, FBI: MOST WANTED and FBI: INTERNATIONAL, and NBC’s “Law & Order: SVU,” “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” “Law & Order,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.” and “Chicago Med.” Also, he heads all of Wolf Entertainment’s post-production activities.

 

He began directing in 1994 and has since directed numerous episodes of Wolf’s series, including “New York Undercover,” “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders,” and FBI.

 

He is a member of A.C.E. (American Cinema Editors), the Director’s Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
