GAY BLACKSTONE
Executive Producer of “Masters of Illusion”

Gay Blackstone became a TV regular as a member of the peanut gallery on “The Howdy Doody Show,” a “ding-a-ling” on “The Andy Williams Show,” and as one of the famous “Golddiggers” on “The Dean Martin Show.” She later honed her dancing skills and landed recurring roles with the prestigious San Francisco Ballet Company.

In the 70’s, her life took on a whole new dimension when her one-time gig assisting Harry Blackstone Jr. on a magic show turned into a life-long love affair, not only with the world-renowned illusionist, but with the world of magic. In the 80’s, they co-produced the record-breaking “Blackstone Magic Show,” which became the longest running pure magic show in Broadway history.

Throughout her career, she has worked side-by-side with industry giants such as Michael Jackson, New Kids on the Block, Penn and Teller and Alice Cooper, to name a few. In recent years, Blackstone has assumed the role of executive producer of critically-acclaimed productions such as “The World Magic Awards” and the “Masters of Illusion” tour. She has also served on the board for many charitable organizations and was on the board for the Academy of Magical Arts at the world famous Magic Castle, after completing a successful term as president of the prestigious organization.
