CARLOS CUEVAS

Salai in “Leonardo”

Carlos Cuevas stars as Salai in The CW’s new series “Leonardo.” An apprentice and close friend to Leonardo, Salaì, devastatingly handsome, has a captivating charm, and a devilish sense of humour (inspiring his nickname, which translates into ‘little devil’). He has a rare insight into people for such a young man, but he can be arrogant and pushy. There is something innately mischievous and playful about him, perhaps coming from a life living on the streets of Milan. Still, he is fiercely loyal and supportive, going above and beyond for Leonardo.

Cuevas is a seasoned television actor who appeared on the small screen for the very first time in 2002 in a small role as a party goer on “Viva S Club.” In 2005, he began portraying Biel Delmàs in the series “Ventdelplà” which he continued through 2010.

He has also acted in many other television programs including “Luna, el misterio de Calenda,” “Merlí,” “Cuéntame,” “Merlí. Saper Aude” and “Boundless.” Cuevas is best known for his performances in “The Ministry of Time” and “The Man from Rome.”
