Executive Producer of “Devils”

 

 

Luca Bernabei is executive producer of The CW’s “Devils,” a conspiracy thriller for Sky Studios, starring Patrick Dempsey and Alessandro Borghi.

 

Bernabei, with his innovative energy and desire for challenge, is the driving force of Lux Vide. He is married to Paola Lucantoni and father of six, and loves his family and his country, Italy. Born in Rome in 1964, he graduated with a degree in Political Science from La Sapienza University of Rome. He started off his career working in advertising for Italy’s top agencies and trend-setting production companies.

 

In 1994, Bernabei became Associate Producer at Lux Vide, where he produced the international television series “The Bible.” In 2002, he was appointed Head of Production, taking charge of the entire cycle of production, from development to post-production. He was then appointed Chief Executive Officer of Lux Vide.

 

Bernabei has produced more than 100 projects, including television-movies, series and mini-series, such as “War and Peace,” “Anna Karenina,” “Coco Chanel” with Shirley McLaine. Additionally, he produced the longest-running Italian television series, “Don Matteo,” and “I Medici – Masters of Florence,” starring Richard Madden and Dustin Hoffman in its first season.

 

More recently, he produced the third season of the “Medici” saga. He’s currently working on the production of over 10 new series for Rai, Mediaset and SKY. He is helming the production of “Leonardo” (Rai, Big Light Productions, Sony Pictures Television).
