Lovell Adams-Gray stars as Dr. Dwayne Allen, the resident pathologist, in The CW’s new drama “Coroner.” Although intimidated by public speaking, Dr. Allen’s true strength shines when he’s making medical discoveries that help Dr. Jenny Cooper (Serinda Swan) solve the mysterious cases.

 

Adams-Gray is an actor, writer and producer born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Lovell was named Best Actor at the TO Theatre Critic’s Choice Awards for his work in Soulpepper Theatre’s production of the August Wilson play “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.” He has had the fortune of working with acclaimed Canadian director Clement Virgo, award winning producer/director Frank Van Keeken, and is known for his work on “Lost & Found Music Studios,” the short film “Damon,” and as Peter Broome in the horror anthology series “Slasher: Guilty Party.” Adams-Gray’s debut project came as a hosting role on Frank Van Keeken’s show “The Next Step Aftershow.”

 

Lovell is a graduate from the Humber College Acting for Film and Television program and went on to continue his training at the CFC actor’s conservatory.
