Taylor Matheson in “Burden of Truth”

Anwen O’Driscoll stars as Taylor Matheson, Millwood’s newest police officer, in The CW drama “Burden of Truth.”

O’Driscoll was born and raised in Lindsay, Ontario.  Along with her two younger siblings, she grew up on a horse farm where their family home was infamously known to locals as a haunted house.  

O’Driscoll’s acting career began at the Lindsay Little Theatre, where she was cast in a variety of stage productions. She has also been a member of the Young Ruffians of Shakespeare company In The Ruff in Toronto, and performed in roles such as Nooria in the stage read of “The Breadwinner” at Stratford’s Indie Spring Works.  

Past television credits include “Life With Boys,” the Lifetime Television movie “Flint,” and Shaftesbury Films’ “Emerald Code,” starring alongside her best friend and “Burden of Truth” co-star Star Slade. She is currently in production on the Netflix original series “October Faction.”
