Executive Producer of “Burden of Truth”

Adam Pettle is an executive producer and showrunner of The CW’s drama series, “Burden of Truth.”

Pettle served as executive producer and showrunner on the hit series “Saving Hope,” and executive producer on CTV’s police drama “The Detail.” He has put his talents to use on various other television series, including; “Rookie Blue,” “Camp X,” “Combat Hospital,” “Played and King.” He was a writer and story editor on “Rookie Blue,” which garnered him a Gemini Award Nomination for writing.

Most recently, Pettle has a series in development with Bell Media and Fox Studios titled Ordinary Criminal, based on a series of novels by Winnipeg crime-writer Michael Van Rooy. He began his writing life in the theatre, where he penned numerous critically acclaimed plays, including “Therac 25,” “Sunday Father,” “Misha” and “Zadie’s Shoes.” He also co-created and wrote over 100 episodes on the hit radio series “Afghanada”, which ran on CBC radio from 2005 through 2008.

Pettle lives in Parkdale with his wife (actress Trish Fagan) and two children.
