John Edwards is a co-creator and producer on The CW’s new series “Bump.”

 

One of Australia’s most prolific and successful producers, Edwards has a 30+ year career of producing quality television series, mini-series and telemovies. Over 600 hours of television drama and 38 production credits to his name, his productions have won 31 Logie Awards, and 41 AFI/ AACTA Awards, as well as a number of international awards including 2 Golden Globe nominations.

 

Ground-breaking early series include “Cyclone Tracey,” “On the Beach” and “Police Rescue,” and more recent credits include “The Beautiful Lie,” “Offspring,” “Puberty Blues,” “Rush,” “Love My Way,” “The Secret Life of Us,” “Tangle,” “Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo,” “Gallipoli,” “Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War,” “Beaconsfield” and “Marking Time.”

 

In 2016, John and Dan Edwards joined forces with Village Roadshow to form Roadshow Rough Diamond, the production company responsible for the Logie and AACTA award-winning 2018 TV drama series “Romper Stomper,” and the upcoming TV drama series “Australian Gangster.”

 

In 2011, Edwards was conferred an honorary master’s degree by the Australian Film Television and Radio School. He was appointed as a member of the Order of Australia in 2017.
