Tamia “Coop” Cooper in “All American”

In the CW’s drama “All American,” Bre-Z stars as Tamia “Coop” Cooper, Spencer’s (Daniel Ezra) best friend and Patience’s (Chelsea Tavares) girlfriend. A successful indie rapper, Coop is ready to take her music career to the next level. However, that proves much easier said than done as she’s forced to deal with the continuous fallout from the previous choices she made to keep her and her loved ones safe in the neighborhood.

Hailing from Philadelphia, Bre-Z began her music career at the age of 14, giving impromptu performances around her neighborhood which got the attention of Freeway of Roc-A-Fella’s State Property. Freeway got her into the recording studio where the pint-sized rapper was able to hone her craft and begin to compose her own songs, find her musical voice, and cultivate her unique, androgynous style. Once Bre-Z finished school, she moved to Atlanta to further her music career. To make ends meet, she used the skills passed down by her father and grandfather, and she quickly became Atlanta’s go-to celebrity barber, with a client list that included some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment and music.

Bre-Z released her debut single “Best of Me (featuring Lil Mo)” and her EP, “The Grl.”

Recently, Bre-Z launched a podcast called “Doug Ellin’s Hollywood Wayz with Bre-Z,” which is available on PodcastONe. Listeners can hear about Ellin’s and Bre-Z’s life and work in the City of Angels and their different career paths.

On television, Bre-Z is also known for her roles in the series “Empire,” “Fat Camp,” “Tales,” “The Real” and the television miniseries “The New Edition Story.” She was also seen in the television movie documentary “The Hip Hop World News.”

Bre-Z had a starring role in the feature “Down for Whatever,” which was released in 2018.
