Keisha McCalla in “All American: Homecoming”

In The CW’s new drama “All American: Homecoming,” Netta Walker stars as Keisha McCalla, the life of the party who is caught between opposing forces that kill her vibe: her job as an R.A. with besties who break the rules; a major as pre-med when she’d rather pursue a career as a choreographer; and a belief in casual relationships when deep down she wants something real. But in order to have the life she wants, she’ll have to do the work on herself.

Walker is an accomplished Jeff Award-winning actress and multidisciplinary artist, best known for her work in “Yen” (Raven Theatre, Chicago; Jeff Award for Best Supporting Performer). She is an ensemble member at the multiple Jeff Award-winning Sideshow Theatre Company, with other notable theatre credits including “The Goodman,” “Steppenwolf,” “Victory Gardens,” “The Gift Theatre” and “Milwaukee Rep.” In 2019, she was recognized as one of Chicago Times’ “Hot New Faces.”

Walker is also known for her supporting role in the indie film “Come As You Are” (SXSW, Cannes) opposite Hayden Szeto and Gabourey Sidibe.

She is also known for her roles on the “All American,” “The Big Leap,” and “Chicago Fire.”

Walker currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Chicago.
