Cam Watkins in “All American: Homecoming”

In The CW’s new drama “All American: Homecoming,” Mitchell Edwards stars as Cam Watkins, Spencer James’ (Daniel Ezra) football nemesis from “All American,” but now a student at Bringston University.  He’s the same charming, yet extremely cocky pain in the butt we loved to hate on, but a shocking turn of fate early in season one will have both us and Cam himself reevaluating who he really is inside and out.

Edwards began his career starring in features “Roxanne, Roxanne,” produced by Forest Whitaker and Pharrell, and the Netflix film “Burning Sands,” both of which premiered at Sundance.

Edwards began appearing in a recurring role on “All American” during its inaugural season. Additionally, he was a series regular on “Spinning Out” opposite Kaya Scodelario and January Jones and had a recurring role on “The Fix.” His guest star credits include “Law & Order: SVU” and “The Rookie.”

On the film side, Edwards had a supporting role in “The First Purge” for Blumhouse and Universal.

A graduate of the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, Edwards is also a promising recording artist and trained dancer.
