Thea Mays in “All American: Homecoming”
In The CW’s new drama “All American: Homecoming,” Camille Hyde stars as Thea Mays, the queen-bee sophomore that gives off slight mean girl tendencies. A tennis prodigy, she takes her responsibility for representing Black women in the sport very seriously. Simone’s (Geffri Maya) arrival at Bringston shakes things up for Thea as her instant dislike of her rival clashes with the bond they share as Black women in tennis. And Thea’s secret desire for real sisterhood.
Hyde, a Washington D.C.-raised actress, vocalist and equestrian grew up studying theater before playing the role of Gabi in the Emmy® nominated series “American Vandal.” She was most recently a series regular on Katy Keene as Alexandra Cabot.
She also appeared in the series “Heathers,” “The Good Doctor” and “Suits.” Next, she will star as Nicole in the upcoming feature “The Wedding Year” opposite Tyler James Williams and Sarah Hyland for director Robert Luketic.
