CONTROVERSY ABOUNDS WHEN MAX COMPLETES
HIS SEMI-AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL NOVEL
ABOUT HIS ALTER-EGO, SCHUYLER,
ON "THE EDUCATION OF MAX BICKFORD," MARCH 10

"An Open Book" -- Max becomes embroiled in controversy when his newly completed all-too self-revealing novel about his alter-ego, Schuyler, falls into the hands of his colleagues, daughter and students, on THE EDUCATION OF MAX BICKFORD, Sunday, March 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Matthew Penn directed the episode, which was written by Grace McKeaney.

While Andrea is aghast at Max's thinly veiled description of their real-life affair, Nell is shocked and saddened to learn that he had been unfaithful to her mother. Meanwhile, Lorraine and Judith are outraged by his unflattering passages about them, and the student body yearns to know just how much of the drunken, philandering Professor Schuyler is based on the seemingly staid Max Bickford.
