The Hit Musical Comedy Makes Its Exclusive Free Streaming Premiere on Pluto TV

On Wednesdays, we wear pink. And on September 1, we’re making Mean Girls free. The hit 2024 musical comedy makes its exclusive free streaming premiere on Pluto TV, joining the iconic 2004 original. So whether your Regina George is Renée Rapp or Rachel McAdams, you can sit with us.

From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic. Mean Girls stars Angourie Rice as new student Cady Heron, who is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the Plastics, ruled by queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp). But when Cady falls for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself in Regina’s crosshairs and sets out to take down the Plastics with the help of Janis (Auliʻi Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey).

Based on the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical inspired by the 2004 film, Mean Girls is directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr., with a screenplay by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond and lyrics by Nell Benjamin. The film also stars Avantika, Bebe Wood, Jenna Fischer, Busy Philipps, Jon Hamm, Ashley Park, Tina Fey and Tim Meadows.

Stream Mean Girls (2024) for free exclusively on Pluto TV beginning September 1. That’s so fetch.
