Amanda Renner

Amanda Renner joined CBS Sports in 2017 as a reporter for the Network’s golf coverage, working select tournaments, and joined the team fulltime in 2018. She also serves as a sideline reporter for select NFL ON CBS games and CBS Sports Network college football games, as well as a panelist on WE NEED TO TALK.

In addition to her work with CBS Sports, Renner serves as in-house reporter for Callaway Golf and as a reporter for “The Match” events on Turner Sports. She also was a contributor to Turner Sports’ coverage of the PGA Championship.

Renner began her career as a sideline reporter for Verizon Fios Channel 1 covering high school sports. From 2009 to 2011, she served as a reporter for high school sports at MSG Network, including providing color commentary for the network’s coverage of high school volleyball. Renner joined the PGA TOUR as in-house reporter and host in 2011, producing and reporting tournament highlights and events.

Active in her community, Renner is the founder of the 501c3 nonprofit Puppies & Golf which raises awareness for animal rescues around the country and supports families in need as well as organizations like K9s for Warriors.

Renner is a graduate of Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., Renner currently resides in San Diego, Calif.
