CBS SPORTS NETWORK PROVIDES OVER 75 HOURS OF WALL-TO-WALL COVERAGE LEADING UP TO SUPER BOWL LV

 

 

Lineup includes daily episodes of THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW, a special Super Bowl-edition of WE NEED TO TALK and SUPER BOWL TODAY POST GAME LIVE immediately following Super Bowl LV

 

CBS Sports Network kicks off and concludes CBS Sports’ extensive Super Bowl LV coverage with over 75 hours of programming throughout Super Bowl week. The week-long coverage includes a variety of original and studio programming and the network’s daily radio show simulcasts. The network will provide news, analysis, guests and commentary from start to finish with daily studio shows and culminating with live postgame coverage on Sunday night from Tampa.

 

Coverage begins on Monday, Feb. 1 with the first of five weekday editions of THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW (10:00 AM – 12:00, PM ET), featuring analysis and commentary from the TOPS crew with host Dana Jacobson and analysts Amy Trask, London Fletcher, Kyle Long, Jonathan Jones, Jeff Ratcliffe and Keith Irizarry. CBS Sports Network will also air a simulcast of “Super Bowl Opening Night” on Monday, as Super Bowl week officially kicks off with players and coaches addressing the media for the first time.

 

Immediately following CBS Sports’ broadcast of Super Bowl LV, CBS Sports Network will wrap up the week with extended post-game coverage from Tampa. James Brown, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason, Phil Simms and Nate Burleson will continue to recap the game with interviews and analysis on SUPER BOWL TODAY POST GAME LIVE.

 

Below are additional highlights of CBS Sports Network’s Super Bowl coverage:

 

  • WE NEED TO TALK, the first-ever nationally televised all-female sports show, will offer two shows leading up to Super Bowl LV. A special episode titled WE NEED TO TALK WITH… kicks off coverage on Sunday, Jan. 31 (2:30 – 3:00 PM, ET) with a one-on-one interview between Lesley Visser and Super Bowl XXII MVP Doug Williams. Williams reflects on his experience as the first Black quarterback to both start and win a Super Bowl, as well as his upbringing as one of eight children living on a farm in rural Zachary, Louisiana. WE NEED TO TALK in its traditional format will air on Saturday, Feb. 6 (11:00 AM – 12 NOON ET), with panelists Jacobson, Trask, Andrea Kremer, Aditi Kinkhabwala and Tracy Wolfson. The episode will feature a Visser interview with former NFL cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, and much more.

  • A two-hour edition of NFL MONDAY QB (6:00 – 8:00 PM, ET) will lead into the “Super Bowl Opening Night” simulcast on Monday evening. Host Adam Schein and analysts Long, Kevin Carter, Charles Davis, Trent Green and Steve Beuerlein provide analysis and film breakdown of the Super Bowl matchup from their unique perspectives.

 

  • SUPER BOWL LIVE highlights each night’s coverage, airing Tuesday-Friday (7:00 – 9:00 PM, ET). Hosts Adam Zucker and Brent Stover will be joined throughout the week by a rotating cast of current and former NFL players and NFL ON CBS analysts, including Trask, Fletcher, Long, Jones, Green, Carter, Davis, Sherree Burruss and Aaron Taylor.

 

  • SUPER BOWL WEEKEND on Saturday, Feb. 6 (11:30 PM – 12:30 AM, ET) will recap Super Bowl week and include some of the best moments, guests and pieces from CBS Sports coverage of the week, with Zucker hosting.

 

  • CBS Sports Network will air four shows with extensive Super Bowl coverage throughout the week: BOOMER AND GIO (6:00-10:00 AM, ET), THE JIM ROME SHOW (12:00 NOON-3:00 PM, ET), TIKI & TIERNEY (3:00-6:00 PM, ET) and TIME TO SCHEIN (6:00 – 7:00 PM, ET).
