CBS Sports’ presentation of the Real Madrid-Manchester City semifinal first leg match on Tuesday delivered record-setting multiplatform viewership. Real Madrid-Manchester City is the most-watched UEFA Champions League (non-final) match ever on an English-language network, averaging 1.141 million viewers on the CBS Television Network, and up +15% compared to last year’s first semifinal match (Manchester City-Real Madrid, April 26, 2022). 

 

Paramount+ recorded its most-streamed non-final soccer match ever on the service with Real Madrid-Manchester City, delivering double-digit year-over-year growth in viewing households, streaming minutes and average minute audience (AMA).

 

CBS Sports Golazo Network, with extended UCL coverage and an exclusive match tactical camera angle, also registered its biggest day ever on Tuesday since its launch across viewing households, streaming minutes and impressions.

 

CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League semifinals coverage continues on Tuesday, May 16 with Inter Milan-AC Milan at 3:00 PM, ET, streaming live exclusively on Paramount+, and on Wednesday, May 17 with Manchester City-Real Madrid at 3:00 PM, ET, airing on the CBS Television Network and streaming live on Paramount+.
