CBS NEWS’ “FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN” WAS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING PUBLIC AFFAIRS SHOW IN VIEWERS ON APRIL 2

FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN delivered 3.0 million viewers, with 475,000 in adults 25-54, ranking #1 in total viewers on Sunday, April 2, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. FACE THE NATION has ranked #1 in viewers for 26 of the 28 weeks this season and for 15 consecutive weeks. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is ranking #1 among total viewers for the third consecutive year.

Sunday’s broadcast featured moderator Margaret Brennan’s interviews with editor-in-chief of The Wall Street Journal Emma Tucker, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), former national security adviser John Bolton, former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara, and CBS News legal analyst Rikki Klieman.

CBS News chief election and campaign correspondent Robert Costa joined the broadcast to report the latest on former President Trump’s historic indictment and sat down with Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen ahead of Tuesday’s arraignment.
