“CBS SATURDAY MORNING” BEATS NBC IN KEY DEMOS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2003

CBS SATURDAY MORNING topped NBC’s “Saturday Today” in the key adults 25-54 (+16,000) and women 25-54 (+22,000) demographics for the first time since 2003. CBS SATURDAY MORNING delivered 1.8 million total viewers, with 409,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demo and 256,000 in the women 25-54 demo, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Saturday, August 13.

Through 47 weeks this season, CBS SATURDAY MORNING has closed the viewer gap with ABC by 7% and with NBC by 4%. In the adults 25-54 demo, CBS SATURDAY MORNING has closed the gap with ABC by 7% and with NBC by 12%. This season, CBS SATURDAY MORNING is delivering the tightest gaps in the demo with NBC and ABC ever. CBS SATURDAY MORNING is also delivering its tightest gap among total viewers with NBC ever, and with ABC since 2007.
