“CBS SUNDAY MORNING” AND “FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN” ARE #1 ON SUNDAY

CBS Mornings,” “CBS Saturday Morning” and the “CBS Evening News with Norah O’ Donnell” Gain on Competition

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program in America for the 637th consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Feb. 5. The broadcast delivered 5.3 million viewers, with 827,000 in the adults 25-54 demographic. CBS SUNDAY MORNING has ranked #1 for the past 23 seasons among viewers (since the 1999-2000 season) and for 19 seasons among adults 25-54 (since the 2002-2003 season). FACE THE NATION WITH MARGARET BRENNAN is the #1 Sunday public affairs broadcast in viewers and has been #1 in 18 of 20 weeks this season. FACE THE NATION delivered 3.1 million viewers, with 521,000 in adults 25-54, on Sunday, Feb. 5. Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is #1 in viewers for the third consecutive year. CBS MORNINGS remains the only network morning program this season to deliver year-to-year growth in any demographic, up +5% among women 25-54, and adding three competitive share points. For the season, CBS MORNINGS is delivering the tightest gap in viewers and adults with NBC ever, and the best with ABC in viewers since the 2020-21 season. CBS MORNINGS delivered 2.417 million viewers, with 535,000 in adults 25-54 for the week ending Feb. 4. CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O’DONNELL was the #1 most-watched broadcast on CBS in viewers Monday through Wednesday, and #1 in adults 25-54 on Tuesday, for the week ending Feb. 3. The CBS EVENING NEWS delivered 5.5 million viewers, with 877,000 in adults 25-54. For the season, the CBS EVENING NEWS has posted its best gap in viewers with NBC since the 2017-2018 season and its tightest gap with ABC in adults 25-54 since the 2018-2019 season. CBS SATURDAY MORNING continues to deliver the tightest gaps with the competition in years. For the season, CBS SATURDAY MORNING is posting its smallest gap with NBC ever in viewers, adults 25-54, women and men 25-54. The broadcast is also delivering the smallest margins with ABC in adults, women and men 25-54 since the 2004-2005 season. CBS SATURDAY MORNING delivered 1.9 million viewers, with 368,000 in adults 25-54, on Saturday, Feb. 4. CBS SATURDAY MORNING’s live-streaming audience was up +1% from the week prior.
