60 MINUTES

CBS SUNDAY MORNING

  • CBS SUNDAY MORNING finished the 2021-2022 broadcast season as the #1 Sunday morning news program for the 19th consecutive season among viewers and adults 25-54, as well as women and men 25-54.

  • The broadcast ended the season by marking its 615th consecutive week as America’s #1 Sunday morning news program, on Sunday, May 22 (regular titles only). (Watch CBS SUNDAY MORNING)

  • Delivered 4.8 million viewers with 776,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demographic.

  • This season holds 50% of the three-network morning audience.

FACE THE NATION with MARGARET BRENNAN

  • Is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs show in viewers for the second consecutive year (leading NBC by +367,000 viewers) and is leading NBC for the first time in seven years in the women 25-54 demographic. (Press Release) (Watch FACE THE NATION)

  • Ranked #1 among viewers for the 12th consecutive week and #1 in women for the second consecutive week on Sunday, May 22.

  • Has ranked #1 in 33 of 35 weeks this season and for the last 12 consecutive weeks.

  • Delivered 2.648 million viewers with 468,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demo and 277,000 in women 25-54 on Sunday, May 22.

CBS MORNINGS

  • Delivered its largest number in women since the beginning of March, growing +6% from the prior week. (Watch CBS MORNINGS)

  • Posted the narrowest gap in women 25-54 with NBC (-118k) this season.

  • Delivered 2.4 million viewers, 541,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demo, and 360,000 among women 25-54 for the week ending Friday, May 20.

  • Has cut into NBC and ABC’s leads in the adults 25-54 demo for the season by 15% and 9%, respectively, vs. last year.

  • Is delivering the tightest gaps in adults and women 25-54 for a season ever (since at least 1991) vs. NBC and ABC.

CBS EVENING NEWS with NORAH O’DONNELL

  • Delivered 4.5 million viewers with 756,000 of them in adults 25-54 for the week ending Friday, May 20. (Watch the CBS EVENING NEWS)

  • Saw its narrowest deficits against NBC for the entire season in adults (-224k), women (-157k) and men (-66k).

  • Is delivering the tightest demo gap this season with NBC in 27 years (since 1994-1995) and with ABC since 2018-2019.

  • Is closing the demo gap with NBC by 14% and ABC by 12%, compared to last year.

  • Has closed the gap in viewers with ABC by 7%.

48 HOURS

  • Finished the 2021-2022 broadcast television season as Saturday’s #1 non-sports primetime program for the 15th consecutive season.

  • Delivered 2.88 million viewers with 508,000 of them in adults 25-54 on Saturday, May 21.

  • Was Saturday’s #1 primetime non-sports program in viewers on Saturday, May 21.

  • Was up +1% in viewers from the same night a year ago.

CBS SATURDAY MORNING

  • Delivered 1.6 million viewers with 305,000 of them in the adults 25-54 demo on Saturday, May 21. (Watch CBS SATURDAY MORNING)

  • Season-to-date has closed the viewer gap with ABC by 11% and with NBC by 13%.

  • Has closed the gap in the adults 25-54 demo with ABC by 11% and with NBC by 15%.

  • Is delivering the tightest gaps in the demo with NBC and ABC this season ever, dating to the “Early Show” days in 1997-1998. Among total viewers, SATMO is delivering its tightest gap with NBC ever (since 1997-1998) and with ABC since 2006-2007 (“Early Show” began in 1997-1998, CTM SAT 2011-2012 and GMA SAT in 2004-2005).
