Drew: I have some exciting news. Okay, so Women’s Wear Daily just announced a brand new lifestyle magazine that will hit shelves on June 14^th and guess what it’s called, it’s called Drew. Yep, that’s it, it’s just Drew. This has been my dream, honestly, since I was a pre-teenager ripping out tear sheets from every magazine imaginable to create my very own wallpaper of imagery. Look that’s me at 12-years-old…but if you take a look at the wall behind me my floor to ceiling, wall to wall, was nothing but tear sheets. Magazines have just been really important to me and our magazine will cover some of the things we talk about here on the show and more beauty, food, travel, inspiring stories, people and of course news and I hope this collection of pages brings you joy and provides some escape from everyday life, maybe a little how to get into everyday life at the same time. And help us see beauty everywhere that we look. The first issue will drop nationally in newsstands, that’s right baby this is all paper. There will be a digital landing page if you want to look, it’s a few images it will give you a little wiff of what we are doing but I’m kicking it old school because magazines have been one of the greatest influences in my life. And the fact that I can look back at my 12-year-old self and tell her she’s the founder of a new magazine is such a good feeling. It’s just very full circle and I’m so excited I can’t wait to share it with you.

Drew: You are the father of two daughters and you play the father of two daughters…you play a widow and you were influenced a little bit by Patton Oswalt’s story is that correct?

Kenan: You know he was the closest example to that. Thank God I have an example like his from a person like him who is so gracious and so intelligent and so full of heart and emotion that I could experience kind of like the full journey because he is so forward with it, like he talks about it in stand up and stuff like that. So he is very sharing with that experience. I am grateful I was able to tune into him to understand what that experience might possibly even be like.

Drew: And speaking of costars Millie Bobby Brown is your costar in this and everybody is crazy for her but I heard you guys had to recite Shakespeare together for a screen test is this true?

Julian: Yeah, I remember we did a chemistry read, we went into this office and they were like, ‘Hey we want you to read this script,’ and I was like okay it’s probably from the film and then I look at it and I’m like this looks like it was written 300 years ago by a 60-year-old dude. I don’t know what this is, and it ended up being Romeo and Juliet, so it was an experience.
