Ross: I thought you have, it wouldn't be for me because I'm a, I watch like Little House on the Prairie, and you know, right?...but I tuned in and I loved it, you know, what would you say to other people who are like, is that for me?
Laura: Yeah, listen, I, I'm telling you, there, there are, I see a lot of people have that reaction of like, oh, I don't like watching people get hit.
Valerie: That's me. And so what would make me.
Laura: I have that reaction when I watch, you know fights online or something like that because it's violence, right? The difference is in fighting it's not violence. Someone, when it's violence is when someone doesn't wanna be there and in this it's a sport, it's a competition, it's not violence, it is physical expression at its peak.
Drew: Well, thank you for transporting people with your amazing capacity, expertise, and now leading the charge, being the first female commentator.
Laura Sanko Reveals What She Shares with Travis & Taylor
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/Fh7PRmOi7RK7
Valerie: I recently read something about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift because I'm online too much and I love them….I know I'm obsessed with them.
Laura: Yeah, I'm from Kansas City we have the same house cleaners stop it…They don't live that close to me. I think they're like 20 minutes away, but they're in Kansas City, and we have the same housekeeper, so I'm like, you know, we're basically best friends.
Drew: I'm not kidding. Ever since you said that, I kind of get why this story exists because all of a sudden I'm like leaning in. Tell me more.
Valerie: You know, because we all love Travis and Taylor. I mean, yeah, but they, I, I read something where, or I saw, New Heights where he was talking about, he says, yeah, I mean if I don't like I was at somewhere where, where Taylor couldn't be with me and I have to take notes of who I saw, who she knows, so that I could go home and then tell her everything, and that's like, so that brings them closer.
Luke on Hitting on Drew & Cameron Years Ago
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/VnDhhjB47fQu
Drew: Oh my God, I cannot believe I'm seeing you in person.
Luke: You wanna hear something crazy? We've met before.
Drew: How?
Luke: Because I've, I, where this story is gonna make me sound terrible. This is like 20 years ago.
I just moved to LA, and do you remember that club Teddy's?
Drew: Of course.
Luke: And you were there with Cameron Diaz, and a friend of mine was daring me to go up to women and say pickup lines. And he dared me to come up to you two and do it.
Drew: OK, what happened?
Luke: I forget what line it was, but I did, and Cameron hated it. And you were like, that's actually pretty cute and you were nice about it, so thank you, you didn't totally reject me.
I just thank you for being nice to me.
Drew: By the way, thank you for even trying to fake a pickup line because I, I, if there's any men out there, you can fake pickup line me whenever.
Luke on Meeting his Wife on a Dating App & Becoming A Dad
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/ds0pbr1vDKz1
Drew: I wanna ask you something because it, it gives me a lot of hope. OK, I've been single for almost 10 years now. I've tried an app and I wondered like can anyone really be found out there on a dating app?
Luke: Well, I think you're asking because I met my wife on a dating app.
Drew: You're living proof.
Luke: I know that's crazy. I never thought I'd be on a dating app to begin with. I was going through sort of a, you know, one of those times in life where I was just like, it's lonely. I just want to meet some people. My friend was on there. He was having a really good time. My wife was my first date, and we were married in 4 months.
Drew: I mean, I'm just so happy for you. Could you have ever imagined if someone told you you're gonna go on once, you're gonna meet somebody and you're gonna be married right away, would you have believed it?
Luke: No, not at all. No, I didn't think there was any chance, you know, but I, I, honestly like since meeting her everything else in my life is sort of right sized like I found the thing I didn't know what I was looking for and now everything else is just sort of a, a cherry on top, so yeah.
I didn't think I was gonna be mushy here today. I'm sorry. You have this vibe about you that I, I fell into it.
Drew: I'm so glad. I am, and you have a beautiful child. Yes, OK, what is that like?
Luke: I mean, you know, the next greatest thing that's ever happened to me or the most greatest thing. I don't know which one's better, but I, you know, I, I, I didn't know if I would be a dad at a certain point in my life. I was sort of starting to get up there in years and I thought maybe that's not in the cards for me, you know, but when I, when I met her, I realized that I think we'd be good at this.
Luke on Playing Kayce Dutton
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/rGH18GSYzGQn
Drew: I wonder how you chose to play Kayce because you are very much the heart of that whole world and how is Kayce so sweet and you know someone we're so drawn to but it's also a no nonsense capable person.
Luke: I mean that's what was so attractive about that part. I just never read anything like that before, you know, and it was all in the writing it's, it's like that nuance and that humanity was.
On the page, because, you know, obviously Taylor's such a great writer, and, and you're right, like you, you don't normally see the guy in the western who can take care of business but also show his feelings and wear his heart on his sleeve. I've never seen that in a Western before.
It's normally one or, or, or the other, and it was sort of beautiful to play, you know, both of those things. This guy is completely capable. He's an ex-Navy SEAL, but he also loves his wife and his kid and would do anything for them and is this is a sweetheart to his family.
Drew Shares Clip with Nicole of Justin Theroux Talking About Meeting Her
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/8kGjNXczxuDz
Drew: I have a clip of him talking about a certain someone. Let's take a look.
Justin: The first impression was wow. And then a friend of mine who was with me, literally the quote was that, that's, that's the one. Like we hadn't even met yet, and I was like, she's so stunning, so I went over and started talking and things like that, and then it progressed.
Drew: What was your side of it?
Nicole: Oh my gosh, it was so funny. We were at, we were at a party at the nines in New York and, And I walked in and, and we said hello and then yes, his friend, his best friend Rossi came back over later and he was like really, really talking to me and asking me a bunch of questions and I was like, who are you? Like what's going on? But Justin had sent him over to kind of get the, get the scoop on me.
Drew: Yeah, because it's so exciting when you're like, oh my God, are they single? like because you're waiting for a green light to sort of think and you know, let the mind wander into the realm of possibilities, or is it like, nope, they're not available, shut it down.
Drew & Nicole Family Vacationing By Accident
https://app.cimediacloud.com/r/D1wRyRRz6azc
Drew: Justin has, he, he had a dog named Puma for many, many, many, many years. Puma went everywhere with him and then now he has Kuma and Kuma was here on the show. There's baby Kuma. Kuma sits at the table with them like a person. It's the cutest thing and that's all of us look at your bump sticking out and that's my friend Ember. It was so fun we ran into each other on vacation only to hang out for a bunch of days and then be like oh no you're leaving? Where are you going? And we were going to the same place so we just got to keep we went on family vacation together and my daughters love you and Justin and Kuma.
Nicole: They are the sweetest. We talked about this while we were on vacation, but I was like so blown away by their maturity and their sense of humor and their presence. They're, I don't think I've ever been that mature, and they're what, 12 and 13?...That's what I saw. That's what I saw, but maybe they're not the same at home.
Drew: No, they're, they're not, but it is, it, it means so much to me to hear you say that because that sort of, I guess, is our job as parents to make sure when and we launch them out into the world that they are kind, polite, you know, open-minded, open-hearted people. But no, when they come walking through the apartment door, it's like a tidal wave, you know. It's, it's so different at home. So your perspective means everything to me.
