Drew: One of my favorite films, I think of it so much more than a film. It's a world and I tend to live in it on a daily basis and I certainly quote it every day of my life.
Lisa: What?
Drew: ‘Romy and Michelle.’ Is it true, and maybe I'm off base about this, but OK, here, you're gonna be the person that knows Michelle, but was it a, it wasn't a movie at first.
Lisa: Oh, right. No, those were two characters in an equity waiver play in LA that Robin Schiff wrote, she wrote the movie, so they had to do a backers audition. For the play to see if they could even mount the play and it was they went to all the teachers who do you recommend to audition so I, you know, I went that was my first audition ever for airhead number 2.
Drew: Aka Michelle.
Lisa: Michelle. It was, yeah, and we were these minor characters and we were on stage a total of 7 minutes for the whole in and out for the whole play.
Drew: And then did she go and write a full screenplay for it? Like how did it, was it a pilot?
Lisa: It was a pilot.
Drew: Was it gonna be a TV show?
Lisa: We were in the pilot, this actress Christie Miller and I, Romy and Michelle, and it was a pilot and it wasn't very good.
Drew: And then I just got to work this summer with Mira Sorvino. I did, and the whole time.
Oh my God, I kept asking her. I was like, so what's happening with ‘Romy and Michelle’ and the second film and a sequel, because we've talked about it here on the news, every little tidbit and morsel we get, we scream from the rooftops because I just, I mean, there's nothing I could ever imagine that I would want more. How's it going?
Lisa: It, I mean, we're, she said it perfectly. We're as close as we have ever been. There's a script that's really good.
Drew: Oh my God, I just got chills.
Lisa: So it'll happen. I mean, we'll see.
Lisa on Finding a Note From Matthew Perry in the Cookie Time Jar He Gave Her From “Friends” Set

Drew: Did you ever steal anything from set?
Lisa: Yes, but I'm too afraid to tell you what. I'm too, I can't say. I'm afraid.
Drew: OK.
Lisa: Someone will come take it away, take it away from me.
Drew: I don't know why. I just got that it was the cookie time jar.
Lisa: No, Matthew gave that to me at the end of our last episode. And I had recently found the note that he had in it for me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hadn't opened it up or looked inside of it, but yeah, he did. He had a note in there and I forgot about it. Timing is everything.
