PREVIEW CLIP 1: KELSEY GRAMMER REFLECTS ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LATE KIRSTIE ALLEY

Rachael Ray: On a very somber and sad note, Kirstie Alley has been a guest on our show many times over the years and I adored her so much...She was such a fiercely funny, self-effacing, self-deprecating, charming, beautiful firecracker of a soul. What an amazing woman. Is there anything you can share with us, when we all lost her...Is it too much to answer? Can you share something?

Kelsey Grammer: Oh no, we can talk about it. I loved Kirstie...She was always beautiful, she had that thing about her, she was a radiant human being and that came through her. She knew how to love, she was so honest in her emotions all the time. When I went through a little bit of trouble with the law when I was on Cheers at the time, she showed up. She was one of the only ones who really showed up in a pinch and tried to be supportive and that was magnificent. And she was just a wonderful person.

Grammer Continues: She always made me laugh...The first time I went to her house and there were lemurs on the property, and I thought, ‘Only in Kirstie world.’ And she just was great.

PREVIEW CLIP 2: KELSEY GRAMMER SHARES HOW HE PREPARED FOR HIS ROLE IN NEW MOVIE “JESUS REVOLUTION”

Rachael Ray: How do you prepare for a role like this?

Kelsey Grammer: You know what, I think John Gilbert says it takes you 17 years to become an actor, it may have taken me a little longer honestly. In the end, the trick is to just surrender to what you’re doing and connect, and hopefully sort of conjoin with the message you’re carrying, and it becomes one with you. Chuck and I ended up being the same person for a while, not like a nutty person like, ‘Oh my God, I lost myself, I disappeared.’ That would be insanity. This is, you’re walking the same path together.
