Ross: I'm here with somebody that you might know, Anthony. Oh, look who it is.

Anthony: Whoa, whoa, Jimmy, wait. What's up Jimmy? It's so good to see you, man.

Ross: Can you tell everybody who Jimmy is to you.

Anthony: Jimmy. He was a doorman at ‘Hamilton.’ Always he was like, ‘Hey kid,’ you know, I walk in. I was 23. It was my first Broadway show. Damn.

Ross: Jimmy, how long have you been at the Richard Rodgers Theater at the door back there?

Jimmy: 46 years.

Ross: 46 years. So what, what are some of the, the shows that you've seen come through that theater?

Jimmy: Well, my best show is the first one, I don't know if I can say it, best little whore house in Texas.

Drew: Yeah, on this show, you can say whatever you want.

Jimmy: There's the picture right there.

Ross: Wow, that was back in 1978, huh? And then you were there, for ‘Hamilton’ for all of it, right? What was that like?

Jimmy: When it first, when I first seen it was like another show coming in, but then they all became like brothers to me, like friends and like him.

Anthony: This is my man yo.

David: As a director, you know, there's just things if you're not an actor you don't know. Like, do you ever remember Drew when you were younger, cut mid-sentence, right? You're mid, you're saying mid dialogue and you hear cut and you're sitting there like, did I do something wrong? It's totally embarrassing and you're sitting there and your wheels are spinning, your heart rate's going and you're like, what did I do? So when I directed every time I yelled cut, I would shout out what we're doing so the kids know what's going on. So I'd be like, ‘Cut camera problem, guys, relax, relax, camera problem.’ And so they wouldn't be sitting there for 5 minutes while we talked about how to tweak a camera and just sitting there wondering, did I screw up? So I did all sorts of stuff like this and then bringing in a note, right? I was like, hey, just so you know, that take was really good. I liked that take, but I need an alternate for the edit, so I wanna try this emotion as opposed to just coming in and saying, give me it mad and walking off, and that would put them so at ease because they realized, oh, you did a good job, and now we're gonna try something else.

Drew: Oh I really did not expect that. That is a very powerful thing and it really speaks to my life experience. Oh, it's just amazing how sensitive people are and if anybody's at their job and you get like pulled aside, you're just like, what have I done wrong? And it’s, just you really, really touched me because that is so what my life experience was, but I just think that it's getting to know you right now and seeing the kind of human being, the thoughtfulness, the way you're talking about your friendships and your kids, but seeing how vulnerable people can be when they're trying to do their best. And that maybe just maybe in that moment we could all explain a little bit what's happening like context and explanation mean so much and I just can imagine anyone in any workplace if they got the benefit of being explained to what a beautiful experience that would be in the workplace. Good for you and may all businesses adapt what you're saying.

Drew: People are definitely chattering about something that might happen with Selena's character. I'm not expecting a spoiler, but am I right in that there's a lot of chatter about it?

David: Oh, the internet exploded last night, and the crazy part is like when we shot this and we made this, you, you think of every scenario right, we did not see this coming at all. The internet's reaction last night. I mean, it was trending and blowing up it was crazy. It's online right now. There's a big question that's asked, which is like what happened to Alex? What happened to Alex? Selena Gomez's character and you guys need to know that the answer to that question will be in season 3 if you all watch it.
