Scott Prendergast is an Eagle Scout from Portland, Ore. Three of his short films played at Sundance, and his feature “Kabluey,” starring himself and Lisa Kudrow, was chosen as a New York Times Critic’s Pick. Prendergast was trained at the Groundlings Theater as an improviser. He appeared regularly on “Silicon Valley” and “Space Ghost Coast to Coast.” He has written for “Celebrity Deathmatch,” “Craft Corner Deathmatch” and “Wilfred.”

His mother is not happy to be the subject of his new series, but she is quite happy to be portrayed by Marcia Gay Harden.
