Amy Hill’s numerous television and film credits include her memorable roles in the feature film “50 First Dates” and in “Next Friday” as Ice Cube’s neighbor. On television, she recurs on CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, “UnReal,” “Preacher” and MOM, on the Network. Also, she stars on Amazon Prime’s series “Just Add Magic.”

As a voice actor, Hill has been heard as characters on numerous animated series and films, including “American Dad,” “Lilo and Stitch” (both the film and the series), “King of the Hill” and HBO’s “Happily Ever After.”

Hill started her career in theater working with the famed Asian American Theater Company in San Francisco. She continued as a teacher, director and artistic committee member there, in addition to being a part of San Francisco’s improv and sketch comedy scene. In addition, Hill is known in the theater world as a respected performance artist, having written and performed a number of one-woman shows, including the trilogy of “Tokyo Bound,” “Reunion” and “Beside Myself.”

Hill has worked with regional theaters, such as The Mark Taper Forum, Berkeley Rep, Seattle Rep, Actors Theater of Louisville and The Public Theater in New York City, and she has appeared on Broadway in Lincoln Center’s “Twelfth Night,” which aired on PBS’ “Live from Lincoln Center.” She is proud to consider East West Players as her L.A. theater “home,” where she has performed, directed and taught.

Born in Deadwood, S.D., to a Japanese mother and Finnish-American father, Hill was raised in Seattle and went to University in Tokyo. She is the proud mother of a University of Hawaii, Manoa freshman. Her birthday is May 9. She can be followed on Twitter @Tokyobound and Instagram @AmyHillActor.
