Lavel Schley is one of Hollywood’s most promising newcomers.

Before landing his first series regular role on EAST NEW YORK, he appeared in the films “A Man Called Otto,” “Barriers,” “Tell My Family I Love Them,” “Seeing Scarlet,” “Wretch” and “Late.”

In addition, Schley appeared in commercials for Sprint and Dairy Queen.

Schley was born in Colorado Springs. In his spare time, he enjoys boxing and playing piano, the latter of which he likes to do first thing every morning. His birthday is May 27. Follow him on Instagram @lavelschley.
