Kevin Rankin

 

Rankin made his television debut in Judd Apatow’s classic comedy “Undeclared” alongside Seth Rogen and Amy Poehler, and has recurred on many critically acclaimed series, including the final season of “Breaking Bad,” “Umbrella Academy,” “Justified,” “Big Love,” “Six Feet Under” and “Friday Night Lights.”

 

Before joining the cast of EAST NEW YORK, Kevin Rankin was a series regular on the dark comedy “Claws,” executive produced by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack. Previously, he starred in the police drama “Unforgettable,” opposite Poppy Montgomery, on the Network, as well as the medical series “Trauma.”

 

Rankin has also made his mark in film. He appeared in the 2019 feature “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” as well as “Dallas Buyers Club,” opposite Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Jared Leto. Additional film credits include “White House Down,” opposite Channing Tatum; “Pawn Shop Chronicles,” opposite Matt Dillon and Paul Walker; “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” opposite Gary Oldman; “The Apostle,” directed by Robert Duvall; and Ang Lee’s “The Hulk.” In 2012, Rankin made his producing debut with the independent film “Congratulations,” in which he also starred.

 

Rankin was born in Baton Rouge, La. His birthday is April 18.
