Al Higgins is known for his close association with Chuck Lorre after taking on the role of showrunner on “Mike & Molly” during its last three seasons on the Network. Also, he executive produces “The Kominsky Method” with Lorre and actor Michael Douglas, which earned them a Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy Series.
In addition, Higgins wrote and produced the acclaimed series “Malcolm in the Middle,” for which he was nominated for both an Emmy and a Producer’s Guild Award. Other television credits include “NewsRadio,” “‘Til Death,” “Cracking Up,” “In the Motherhood,” “Cavemen,” “100 Questions” and “Big Lake.”
A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Higgins currently resides in Los Angeles.
