Warren Bell is a 30-year veteran of the sitcom business, serving as writer, producer and showrunner for such series as “Ellen,” “Coach,” “According to Jim,” “The PJs” and, on the Network, “Two and a Half Men” and “Mom.” He and his wife, writer Jessica Butler, co-created the successful Nick at Nite comedy “Instant Mom.”

Originally from eastern Pennsylvania, Bell attended NYU in the early 1980s, played bass on the first-ever Def Jam record, then moved to Los Angeles to break into sitcom writing. Six years later, he realized that lifelong dream when he was hired to write for “Uncle Buck,” on the Network.

Currently, Bell resides with his wife on a small lake in the mountains of western Los Angeles where he catches fish, smokes meat and raises exemplary children.
