CBS IS MOST-WATCHED NETWORK FOR WEEK 25 OF 2019-2020 BROADCAST SEASON
THE EYE WINS SIX NIGHTS
According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sunday, March 15 (week 25 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), CBS finished first, attracting 6.17 million viewers. The Network won six nights (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). CBS leads this season’s viewer race with an audience of 7.77 million viewers.
On Monday, BULL was first in viewers (6.31m) while adding +80,000 viewers week over week (from 6.23m, +1%).
On Tuesday evening, CBS was first in viewers (8.35m), led by the night’s most-watched series, NCIS (10.75m viewers). FBI was second in viewers (8.30m), and FBI: MOST WANTED was first (5.99m).
On Wednesday, CBS was first in viewers (5.48m). SURVIVOR was second (6.91m). SEAL TEAM was tops at 9:00 PM (4.91m), adding +310,000 viewers week over week (from 4.60m, +7%). S.W.A.T. was first (4.19m viewers), while also adding +710,000 viewers from last week (from 3.48m, +21%).
On Thursday, CBS was #1 in viewers (5.99m) as YOUNG SHELDON was the evening’s most-watched series (8.88m) while adding +330,000 viewers from last week (from 8.55m, +4%). THE UNICORN’s season one finale was second in viewers (5.79m). MOM (150th episode) was also second (6.34m, season-best delivery) and added +520,000 viewers (from 5.82m, +9%). The CAROL’S SECOND ACT season one finale was second in viewers (5.23m), adding +550,000 viewers (from 4.68m, +12%). At 10:00 PM, TOMMY was first in viewers (4.79m).
On Friday, CBS was first in viewers (7.03m) for the 23rd Friday in 25 weeks this season. At 8:00 PM, MACGYVER was first in viewers (5.84m), as was HAWAII FIVE-0 (7.11m) and BLUE BLOODS (8.14m). BLUE BLOODS was the night’s #1 program in viewers with its largest audience of the season.
On Saturday, CBS was first in viewers (3.20m).
On Sunday, CBS was first in viewers (7.15m) for the fifth consecutive week. 60 MINUTES was first in viewers (10.44m) with the show’s largest audience since Dec. 8, 2019. At 8:00 PM, GOD FRIENDED ME was second in viewers (5.97m). NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was also second in viewers. Compared to last week’s episode (which aired at 10:00 PM), NCIS: NEW ORLEANS added +730,000 viewers (from 5.62m, +13%). Finally, at 10:00 PM, a special NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was first in viewers (5.83m).
