Mekhi Phifer is currently filming Apple’s series ARE YOU SLEEPING opposite Octavia Spencer, Aaron Paul and Elizabeth Perkins. He recently wrapped THE BOBBY BROWN STORY and can most recently be seen in CHICAGO PD, and the DIVERGENT sequels INSURGENT and ALLEGIANT, based on the popular books by Veronica Roth. He previously starred alongside Devin Kelley and Peyton List on the CW’s FREQUENCY. He shot the thriller PANDEMIC opposite Alfie Allen and Rachel Nichols (teaser below), and can also be seen opposite Don Cheadle starring as a hip hop mogul character in the 3^rd season of HOUSE OF LIES.

Mekhi could also be seen the Starz! series "Torchwood," and previously as FBI Agent Ben Reynolds on the hit FOX series "Lie To Me. In the fall of 2002, Mr. Phifer starred as Future, opposite Eminem and Kim Basinger in Curtis Hanson's critically acclaimed film 8 MILE (Universal). Mekhi Phifer also appeared in the feature film O (Lions Gate), where he starred opposite Julia Stiles and Josh Hartnett. Based on Shakespeare's Othello, he portrayed Odin, the captain of a champion high school basketball team. In the Columbia/TriStar thriller I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, Mr. Phifer co-starred with Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy and Freddie Prinze, Jr.
